The Mollie B site was great this year. Our hosts, Josh and Lacey were really great. The campground was kept clean and well organized. Our hosts were friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and were very attentive to campers needs. Josh and Stacey are the only reason this review is 5 stars. The lack of dump station facilities was a definite minus, but our hosts were awesome.

After a beautiful first night under the stars and a gorgeous day up until 4.30pm - peaceful and calm overlooking the reservoir, the ambiance of our scenic campsite was ruined by a group arriving and running an obnoxiously loud generator. They also had barking dogs. Considering we were looking for peace and quiet and immersion in nature the noise was overbearing and we packed up and left. According to the hosts it’s the gamble you take. At $39/night it’s a disappointment and we are not willing to chance it again. Such a shame as it’s so pretty and would have so much potential if there were guaranteed quiet sites or stricter rules.

what a great find! I had no where to stay and did not know the area at all so i crossed my fingers and hoped i would get something. I was right! Car camped alone with my doggie views were great water was cool and crisp and left me refreshed. No shade shade so it was pretty warm in the am. Bathrooms were so clean and flush toilets and a sink and mirror whohooo!!!!!! I had picked spot #34 which was amazing lake spot but then i returned 5 mins later it was reserved even though no one ended being their for the one night i needed the spot so that kinda sucked but whatever. I then had spot #44 which was a great view but just no privacy so I had to wait till it was dark to change lol. Not a big deal. AJ one of the camp host was super friendly and nice. I cant wait to come back again!! Thanks again!

This campground is located in a beautiful setting but is very, very poorly managed (for several years). Managed is the wrong word - mismanaged is more appropriate. Over the past several years we have arrived to find several of our reserved camp sites severely uneven, inoperative dump station, closed restrooms, no water due to well issues, camp hosts who had abandoned their jobs early or one year they only worked on their truck so they could leave and hardly did anything as camp hosts - yet the facility is priced as if all these amenities can be counted on. This year we decided to give it one last chance and on short notice we just got an email stating the dump station is closed for the entire 2023 season (again)!!!! Try finding a campsite with facilities on short notice!!! The next nearest dump stations are a 50+ mile (and 110 miles respectively) round trip and you have to pay for a night stay to use it!!!!! Not a problem if you are staying for a couple of nights and don't need these facilities but longer stay when you are counting on water fills or using the dump station is an issue. Will not return to this very poorly operated location.

For being in a national forest, this camp ground has very little vegetation. That makes for little shade and even less privacy, so our experience was marked with hot and gawkers. The surrounding area is gorgeous, but the camping environment left a lot to be desired.

Great Campsite, site and facilities do not deserve 1 star. but with extremely high use the lower sites perfect for boat users are almost always gone make it frustrating to use. Should make lower sites Walk in only or at least have some "Boat use only" or even some releasing to available week of so locals can make a last minute trip to the lake without the fear of being out of luck because its been sold out since May. No spot is bad but its a drag when I have to hike my boat gear to and from my site because all the lower spots are gone and Campground does not allow boats and trailers for us to load up for the day. Overall great site, great staff, poor availability
