Very attractive B&B on the south side of Glasgow close to lots of pubs and restaurants.|I had a single room which was fine and knew it wasn’t en suite (I paid £70 so I can’t complain) so that wasn’t an issue especially as the bathroom was gorgeous and absolutely huge.|The free breakfast is cereal, yogurt, fruit etc so don’t expect a cooked breakfast but I’m not complaining.|One issue I had was I couldn’t get the tv to work as the signal was too low. Oh, well.|Another issue was the parking. The small car park at the front was full so I had to park in the street. As this was a Saturday it wasn’t a problem but in weekdays there are restrictions so I wonder if this would be an issue then.|Anyway, apart from these fairly minor niggles Giffnock Rooms was a good place to stay, especially if you’re visiting the south side.

We had an emergency with our car midway on a long journey and had to make an unexpected stopover in Giffnock while it was fixed. ?‍? It had been a very stressful day, but Jacqueline's warm welcome made us feel a lot more relaxed. The room was quiet and comfortable with tea making facilities, shared use of a microwave, fridge, and breakfast items. Everything was clean and welcoming. Thank you so much. ?

We booked four rooms in this place for two nights midweek, the accommodation is immaculate and has been finished to a very high standard. Jacqueline is so nice and looked after us so well during our stay, she really knows how to make guests feel welcome. The price of the rooms includes a continental, help yourself breakfast consisting of tea, coffee, cereals, yogurt, pan au chocolat, fruit etc, which was a nice touch. The area itself is very well served with a variety of high standard eateries to choose from so you won’t be short of options. We arrived by car and there is ample off road car parking available but if you wanted to leave the car at home you can catch a train from Giffnock train station that will get you into Glasgow city centre in 15 minutes which is very convenient. All in all this place was very good value and highly recommended.

We needed somewhere to stay near Glasgow to break a journey up to the Isle of Mull. What a good choice !!! Jacqueline was extremely helpful and welcoming. The two family rooms for our family of six were cosy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast station was well stocked and we felt rested and ready for our onward journey. No hesitation in staying here again if I am in the area again.

Welcomed by Jackie and Ronnie with open arms. Tastefully decorated, generous sized room (1xdouble and 1xsingle beds) AMAZING BATHROOM With walk in shower! Great selection for continental breakfast. Less than 5 minute walk from supermarket, local pub and train station. Ideal location would definitively stay again and recommend this place! Thanks for having us!

Booked a family room which was spacious and very clean. Complimentary tea and coffee provided in the room and cereal and toast on offer for breakfast. Free parking outside. Train station is about a five minute walk away and took about 15 mins into Glasgow Central Station . Made to feel very welcome by the owner..would definitely stay again.

Jaqueline and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. The house is full of character, the interior bright and modernised with thoughtful decorative touches. Great breakfasts too 🙂 highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place that stay in the south side of glasgow... few min walk to giffnock train station as well.
