Flavorful BBQ in North Myrtle Beach. Great service and very reasonable prices. We both got the senior pork sandwich. It included a nice sized pork sandwich, hush puppies, a side of your choice and a drink - all for $10.00. The sandwich was plentiful. The hush puppies and my fried okra was tasty. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and onion rings. The service was friendly and efficient.

This was my first time here & im so glad we came ☺️ Our waitress was a blast and had such great vibes. All of the food was delicious along with the key lime pie. It was a super chill atmosphere & we got to seat ourselves as well. I would definitely recommend!!

Our server was awesome… so mad I can’t remember her name?‍♀️… it was not the same person all the reviews “rave about” however she was wonderful!!!

I've eaten here a number of times and had a great experience each time. My favorites at the moment are their smoked wings with fries and Brunswick stew.

The spicy wings have a nice flavor and come with pickled jalapenos. I usually split the wings between spicy and plain, so I can dip the plain wings in their various BBQ sauces.

The Brunswick stew is flavorful and hearty.

The pulled pork plate is very good and plentiful, as is the pulled pork sandwich plate. The Taco Tuesday special is also a nice change of pace with three distinct tacos.

They have a nice variety of sides, with the fries, green beans, Brunswick stew, fried okra, white slaw and onion rings being my favorites. The hush puppies are large and sweet.

Service has been friendly and profession every time.

Our waiter was on point. He handled himself great in a large crowd. He still had time to give personal service. The food was great and got out fast. There was so much food for the money that my wife and I couldn't believe it. We had to take some home and ate on it for 2 days. We will be back for sure God willing. Great food! Great service!

The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was that I wasn’t acknowledged at all. There was a waitress at the front talking to the cashier but neither one of them said anything to me when I entered the restaurant. (That should’ve been a sign to leave) No type of greeting. I noticed the waitresses didn’t really have anything to do as they were just standing around up front talking to the cashier. The barbecue was not good. The restaurant opened at 11am and I got there around 11:20am and noticed some of the meats was DRY. The ribs were hard and dry and the BBQ pork sandwich was chalky,dry, and tasteless. I tried adding 2 cups of sauce to help the sandwich out but the chalkiness was hard to get pass. Maybe they served me old meat from the night before because there was nothing award winning about them. The only thing that I can say I did enjoy was the green beans and baked beans. The tea was even weak tasting. Being from out of town I used Google to find this place and that’s where I guess I messed up. For $70 I was expecting more from Carolina BBQ.
I understand BBQ can be dry at times but, for a restaurant to not even be open 30 minutes and have multiple dry meats is not a good look.

(UPDATE AFTER BUSINESS’S RESPONSE) I gave a honest review as a tourist that frequents the area about the restaurant and was bashed for “not showing grace”. It’s obvious that no business can be perfect but, your cooks should know that if meat is so dry that it won’t pull apart, DO NOT SERVE IT. But this business did hit the nail on the head when they mentioned that “they cater to their regulars” so 1st timers just try with caution.

My husband and I just happened to find this place while on vacation! I wasn’t really excited about barbecue that evening but our server was fabulous and this was the absolute BEST barbecue I’ve ever had! I’m just sad that we don’t live close by or I’d want this every single week!!!

I ate here with my parents for lunch. I want to say quickly that service was great! Quickly sat, prompt food response, and we were helped with everything we needed. The dinning room was in need of a solid wipe down. Tables and chairs were not clean. Food was just ok. My parents liked their options, but it wasn’t anything to rave about. Brisket was the best part of my meal. The chopped BBQ was dry and seemed reheated. Brunswick stew was “doctored up” Margaret Holmes out of the can… as was the collard greens. If you’re looking for a quick bite it’s a fine place, just don’t over expect.
